Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Kampala-Kibale National Park- Luxury safari
Leave your lodge or hotel after a heavy breakfast, then transfer to Kibale National Park via Mubende town-Fort Portal city 300kms. Lunch will be provided at a luxury hotel or lodge in Fort Portal city and after, have brief tour in the Crater Lakes or Tooro Kingdom depending on the time of arrival. Drive straight to Kibale National Park to check into the lodge for overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking Kibale, Bigodi wetland walk- Luxury Uganda safari
Day 2 of 8 days luxury Uganda gorilla & wildlife safari takes you through actual chimpanzee tracking start at 8:00am after briefing about the rules and regulations. Take 2-4 hours and there will be an hour of enjoying a close encounter with chimpanzees, taking photos, learning more about their behaviors then you return to the lodge for refreshments and relaxation. After relaxation, proceed to Bigodi for a guided nature walk to look for more primates, birds, flora and others.

Day 3 of 8 days: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park- Boat cruise
After breakfast, leave Kibale for Queen Elizabeth National Park 2-3 hrs drive and upon arrival, don’t miss to sight lots of savanna wildlife, birds and spectacular landscape of this extensive National Park. Queen Elizabeth National Park sits in Western Uganda and occupies 1978sq.kms as per your package, you will have lunch then proceed for an afternoon boat cruise. A boat cruise will be enjoyed at Kazinga Channel where you will come across the Nile crocodiles, hippos, water birds etc.

Day 4: Game drive, chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge
Breakfast first and after, embark on a guided game drive along Kasenyi plains on day 4 of 8 days luxury Uganda gorilla & wildlife safari. Here, expect to take 2-3 hrs and keep an eye on wildlife species such as bush elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, variety of antelopes, birds etc. Drive back for lunch at the lodge, relax and embark on an afternoon chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge-enjoy sight of chimpanzees plus lots of other primates, forest birds etc.

Day 5: Ishasha sector Queen Game drive, transfer to Bwindi
Enjoy breakfast, after transfer to Ishasha for a guided drive to see tree climbing lions and this will be on day 5 of 8 days luxury Uganda gorilla & wildlife safari. Leave Ishasha for Bwindi after a game drive, check into your luxury lodge in Bwindi NP.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking, Batwa cultural encounter- Bwindi National Park
Day 6 of 8 days luxury Uganda gorilla & wildlife safari will be for you to see mountain gorillas in the wild. Start with briefing about gorilla trekking rules and at 8:00am, immerse yourself into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to look out for gorillas-this is 2-6 hours depending on your speed of trekking. On finding gorillas, you will be allowed to spend 1 hour with them while taking pictures, learning more about their habits, behaviors etc.
Return to the lodge to relax and then if you still have the energy, you will be visiting the Batwa pygmies in their community. After the cultural interaction, retreat for dinner and overnight stay in your luxurious accommodation.

Day 7: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi- canoe ride
After breakfast, travel to Lake Bunyonyi- Africa’s second deepest lake. Have ample time to explore this beautiful lake which boasts of 29 islands and in the afternoon/evening, set off for a canoe ride to one of the islands.

Day 8: Lake Bunyonyi-Kampala
Breakfast early morning, after you will meet your driver guide for transfer back to Kampala, en-route enjoy packed lunch. At Kayabwe, make a stopover at Equator for photography, purchase some items etc then proceed to Kampala.
